Industry experts will share their views on how they believe the market will respond post one of the most challenging years in recent history. Our panellists will be:

Thomas Dowd is a principal with Avestus Capital Partners. With over 25 years expertise in real estate investment and finance, Thomas’s primary focus is on investment in Western Europe having transacted in most major markets including Ireland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany and Spain.

Thomas has extensive investment and development experience in all major asset classes including hospitality, office, retail and residential. Thomas is currently responsible for the management and strategic development of the firm’s growing residential PRS platform.

Justin Bickle is Founder, Chairman and CIO of Eagle Street Partners a pan European real estate investment and capital advisory firm focused on Ireland, UK and other select European markets and of Postbrisge Capital a private investment and capital advisory firm  based in London, Dublin and Jersey. 

Previously Justin was a founder and CEO of Glenveagh Properties PLC, a homebuilder listed on the Irish and London Stock Exchanges and prior to that a Managing Director and founding member of Oaktree’s European private equity team and a Partner at US law firm, Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP.

Andy Tallon is an Executive Director in CBRE Corporate Finance London and Dublin and specialises in real estate finance, financial analysis, banking, credit, debt origination, equity investment, structuring, financial modelling, debt and mezzanine lending, diligence, strategic reviews, loan sale advisory, loan valuation.

Claire Solon is a Managing Director and leads the investment, development and operational business in Ireland. Claire is responsible for growing Greystar’s presence in the Irish market by identifying acquisition and development opportunities for both multifamily and student assets. She works with her to team on capital relations right through to the delivery and operation of the finished product.

Prior to joining Greystar in 2019, Claire was Head of Property at Aviva Ireland where she managed property funds of over €600m in Ireland and the UK. She was responsible for strategy formulation and acquisitions, disposals and developments within its extensive property portfolio. Claire was previously Head of Estates Management at ESB Ireland, which is the largest landowner in the country.

Claire is an active Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI), which represents over 6,000 members, and was the youngest person to be elected to the role of President in 2016. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) where she is a member of the Sustainability Committee. She is currently a non-executive board member of state-owned Home Building Finance Ireland.
