We believe that inclusion and diversity are essential to the success and strength of our people, our firm and the delivery of justice through our profession. To hold ourselves to account for progress, we have set regional targets to improve representation of under-represented groups. UK, Ireland and Middle East

In January 2023 we set more ambitious diversity targets for our UK, Ireland and Middle East region:

1. 35% women partners and women in leadership roles by 2028 (currently 24% women partners and 42% women Board members).
2. 10% ethnic diversity in UK and Ireland partnership, separately in Middle East partnership, and in all Business Services Director/leadership roles (currently 6%);
3. 12% ethnic diversity across Senior Associates and Counsel (currently 4%).

We do not have inclusion or wellbeing related targets, however we do measure colleague sentiment through our engagement scores and particularly assess discrepancies between majority and under-represented groups to determine any action required. We ask our people many questions, including whether they feel:

5. Their manager cares about them and their wellbeing
6.  Able to be themselves at work
7. Able to put forward views and be heard
8. Supported in their career progression and development
