It has been almost a year since the new regulations on state aid in the Polish Investment Zone came into force, introducing changes such as the deferred application of the tax exemption, the obligation to demonstrate the arm’s length character of the eligible costs and the modification of the rules for eligible cost recognition, significant amendments (including partial tightening) to the qualitative criteria, the extension of employee-related commitments or the new rules concerning the energy infrastructure being qualified as an eligible part of a new investment.
During the online meeting, we will therefore focus on reviewing, from the point of view of existing and potential investors, how the new rules have been applied in 2023 in practice and what risks and opportunities they create.
