Berlin—Global law firm Dentons advised Shogun Sweden AB on the sale of all battenfeld-cincinnati group companies to Industrie Holding Nimbus. The transaction also included the sale of all bank and shareholder loans. Through the deal with Nimbus, battenfeld-cincinnati group will strengthen its working capital and gets the ability to restructure its debt.

Founded in 1943 in Bad Oeynhausen, battenfeld-cincinnati group is a leading manufacturer of energy-efficient and powerful extruders and extrusion lines according to customer-specific requirements. It has production sites in Germany (Bad Oeynhausen and Kempen), Austria (Vienna), China (Shunde) and the US (McPherson, Kansas) and employs approximately 700 people worldwide. Nimbus is a hands-on investor, which invests in industrial companies headquartered in Europe.

The Dentons team, led by Andreas Ziegenhagen and Dr Michael Seppelt, advised battenfeld-cincinnati on all aspects of German law throughout the entire transaction process and supported the negotiations with the buyer and the financing banks.
