London—Leading global law firm Dentons has advised UK banks HSBC and OakNorth on £232 million of facilities to Splendid Hospitality Group. The facilities are being used to refinance existing debt and to finance extension works at Hilton London Bankside.

Splendid Hospitality Group is one of the UK’s largest privately owned hotel groups with a portfolio which spans across the UK.

The Dentons team was led by Real Estate and Hotels partner Simon Masri and Finance partner James Irvine.

Speaking after completion of the transaction, Simon commented, "The UK hotel market has proven to be a resilient sector and this refinancing transaction shows that our clients continue to believe in its healthy long-term fundamentals."
