Sandra Hazan is a Partner in Dentons’ Paris Tax group.

She is involved in restructuring and tax planning issues. She has extensive experience in assisting clients on tax audits and litigation, particularly in the area of transfer pricing and international structuring.

Sandra advises clients in many sectors of activity, such as food and hotels, and has particular expertise in the luxury, fashion and cosmetics industry.

Additionally, she has extensive experience in dealing with complex tax issues related to the digital economy. Sandra is solicited by the OECD in particular for her expertise on taxation of intangibles.

Experience

French Luxury group:
- Representing, before the French Ministry of Finance, in the context of the European arbitration convention, with a view to eliminate double taxation on transfer pricing.
- Advising on the global reorganization of corporate and operational structures.
- Engineering and defense of the transfer pricing policy. Adaptation of the functional structure.
Leading group in the shop in shop sushi distribution:
- Structuring of the transfer pricing policy and functional reorganization of the group internationally.
- Implementating and defense of transfer pricing policy, cost allocation agreements, cash pooling, management fees and licensing.
Leading group in the fast fashion market: Assisting with the transfer pricing tax audits related to its e-commerce activity and brick and mortar.
Cosmetics group: Creating a management incentive plan (Equity Incentive Plan) for the managers of Cercle 1.
Luxury group specialized in watches and jewellery:
- Assisting with the implementation of compliance obligations related to Off VAT sales.
- Implementating procedure manuals and training of managers on transfer pricing tax penalties.

Honors and Awards

Europe Women in Business Law Awards 2020: Sandra received the award for “Best in Tax Litigation”. This was the second time she had been recognized in the Women in Business Law Awards while, in 2019, she received the award for “Best in Tax”.
