Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons has strengthened its Tax practice with lawyer Marcus Seiboth, having joined the Firm on September 1, 2016. Seiboth previously worked at MAZARS Tax GmbH, where he was a senior manager. He has joined Dentons as a counsel. At Dentons he forms part of the international Tax team in the Firm’s Frankfurt office. Following the hiring of Michael Graf as a tax partner in 2013, Thomas Voss as a counsel in 2014 and Thomas Treffer as an associate in 2015, the Dentons tax team in Frankfurt now comprises four professionals.

Marcus Seiboth advises on corporate tax law — primarily with cross-border implications — and has extensive experience in litigation before tax courts and the Federal Tax Court. He has previously advised companies in the finance, insurance, and entertainment sectors among others.

With this new addition, Dentons continues its growth in Germany. As of September, the German Tax practice encompasses 19 professionals. Furthermore, Dentons in Germany has seen the arrival of nine new partners since the beginning of this year alone – six of whom work in the newly opened Munich office.
