Global law firm Dentons assisted Tages Capital SGR, as the management company of the real estate fund Tages Helios II, with the acquisition of the entire share capital of Blusolar Uno.

The transaction took place in the context of a competitive auction that envisaged the sale of Blusolar Uno's shares by Blunova, part of the Carlo Maresca Group, which is active in the development and management of renewable energy production plants.

Blusolar Uno operates in the solar PV sector and owns an 82.34 MWp solar PV plant in the region of Sardinia. This is also one of the largest solar PV plants in Italy to date and represents Tages Helios II fund’s latest investment.

Dentons assisted Tages in all phases of the transaction, from participation in the auction to the negotiation of all the contractual documentation and legal due diligence, with a team led by partner Luigi Costa, co-head of Dentons’ Project, Energy and Infrastructure business unit in Italy, and composed of managing counsel Ginevra Biadico, associate Silvia Lazzati and trainee Alice Bixio. Tages was also assisted by its head of legal affairs Marcello Ciampi in all phases of the transaction.
