Dentons is excited to announce that Sarah Green, Senior Managing Associate at Dentons Sirote in Alabama, has been selected by the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Taxation as a member of the prestigious 2025-2026 class of John S. Nolan Fellows.

Named after the late Jack Nolan, a devoted leader and former chair of the Tax Section, this designation honors outstanding young tax lawyers in the ABA Section of Taxation who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and have made significant contributions through active involvement in the Section, including participation in committees or task forces.

In her legal practice, Green focuses on Tax Controversy and Litigation, representing clients during all phases of federal income tax disputes, including IRS audit, administrative appeals, and court proceedings in the U.S. Tax Court, federal district court, and U.S. Courts of Appeals. With experience navigating a diverse array of complex tax issues, Green focuses on federal and state civil tax controversies, including representing clients in sensitive audits, administrative appeals, and litigation. She also provides tax advice and represents individuals and entities in criminal tax investigations and prosecutions. In addition to her practice, Green serves as the Vice Chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Taxation Standards of Tax Practice Committee. She is also active in the Alabama State Bar's Tax Section.
